Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Ketel Marte left Saturday’s game against the San Francisco Giants after suffering a cramp in the seventh inning.
Ketel Marte was removed from tonight's #Dbacks game after beating out an infield single. We'll pass along any updates on his status.

D-backs manager Torey Lovullo said the injury was a cramp in Marte’s right hamstring following the game and is day-to-day. He will be re-evaluated tomorrow.
Trying to beat out an infield hit in the seventh inning, Marte came up grabbing his leg before going to the ground in pain.
It hasn’t been the D-backs’ night as starting pitcher Shelby Miller went five innings, allowing six earned runs on nine hits in his first home start of the season.
Marte’s injury didn’t help either as he and outfielder David Peralta were the only two D-backs through seven innings to record multiple hits.
If Marte is to miss any time, it would be a big blow to the D-backs, who have already dealt with a slew of injuries, such as those to A.J. Pollock and Steven Souza Jr.
Nick Ahmed pinch-ran for Marte at first and took over at shortstop in Marte’s absence.
