The Phoenix Suns made a pair of roster cuts Wednesday, announcing the release of forward Ike Diogu and forward/center Solomon Jones.
Diogu, who starred at Arizona State University before being drafted ninth overall by Golden State in 2005, has bounced around the NBA and was hoping to jumpstart his career with the Suns.
Jones, who spent last season with the New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers, is a six-year pro from South Florida.
The Suns’ roster now stands at 15 players.
