Three quarterbacks, it’ll be. The Arizona Cardinals will retain three signal-callers on their 53-man roster, opting to being 2018 with Sam Bradford, Josh Rosen and Mike Glennon, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Bradford will begin the year as the team’s starter, while Rosen will presumably back him up. Glennon, a veteran free agent signed before Arizona drafted Rosen and agreed to a deal with Bradford, gives the Cardinals additional insurance should the other quarterbacks get hurt.

Glennon appeared destined to be the third-string quarterback throughout training camp, but his resume with 770 career pass attempts and a completion percentage of 61 gives Arizona a known commodity behind two quarterbacks with injury histories.

He showed his steadiness in the team’s preseason finale Thursday, completing 8-of-10 passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.

Rosen, the 10th overall pick in the 2018 draft, completed 16-of-29 passes (55 percent) for 155 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions in two preseason games. He sat out the final two preseason outings with a minor thumb injury and in college dealt with multiple nicks. He underwent shoulder surgery in 2016 and finished his college career in 2017 with concussion issues.

Bradford went 8-of-12 for 73 yards, no touchdowns and no picks in three games for Arizona during the preseason. He is coming off a season-ending knee injury that limited him to two games for the Minnesota Vikings last season.

In 2016, Bradford led the NFL by completing 72 percent of his passes for 3,877 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions for the Vikings.
