GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals will be without starting right guard Justin Pugh (hand) and defensive tackle Corey Peters (ankle) Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
Pugh will miss his second straight game, while Peters will leave a hole in the middle against an opponent expected to challenge Arizona heavily in the run game.
Safety Tre Boston (ribs/shoulder) and guard Jeremy Vujnovich (hamstring) had already been ruled out by the team Friday. They were joined on the inactive list by quarterback Sam Bradford, receiver Trent Sherfield and rookie offensive lineman Korey Cunningham.
Kicker Phil Dawson was active after sitting out practice Thursday and being limited Friday with a hip injury that led to Arizona adding rookie kicker Matt McCrane to the practice squad this week.
Also among the active players is starting left guard Mike Iupati (back) and recently-signed safety Eddie Pleasant, who expected to play on special teams if not see time filling in for Boston at safety along with Rudy Ford.
Ford started in place of Boston last week.
Iupati, Pugh, defensive tackle Corey Peters (ankle) and tight end Jermaine Gresham (heel) entered Sunday’s Week 8 matchup listed as questionable to play. Gresham is also active.
The 49ers’ inactives included backup quarterback Tom Savage, receiver Pierre Garcon, defensive back Greg Mabin, center Weston Richburg, defensive tackle Jullian Taylor, tackle Shon Coleman and defensive lineman D.J. Jones.
