The Miami Marlins have reportedly expressed interest in Arizona Diamondbacks closer Archie Bradley.

Per MLB.com’s Joe Frisaro, Bradley is “among many relievers” the Marlins are looking into as the MLB Trade Deadline approaches.

Bradley is arbitration eligible in 2021 and a free agent in 2022.

At 14-21 through the first 35 games of an abbreviated season, The D-backs haven’t given Bradley many opportunities to close out games this season.

All told, he’s seen 10 games in 2020, recording six saves in seven opportunities. He also registered a win and sports a 4.22 ERA.

Bradley is the only D-back with a save this season. Relievers Andrew Chafin and Hector Rondon have three holds each.

Bradley’s last save came on Aug. 16 in a 5-4 win over the San Diego Padres. Since then, he’s played in just two games.

Last season, Bradley tallied a career-high 18 saves in 21 opportunities after taking over for Greg Holland. From July 30 through the end of the season, Bradley posted a 2.10 ERA over 25.2 innings pitched (25 games).

Bradley originally began his D-backs career as a starter, going 10-12 in 34 starts from 2015-16 before moving to the bullpen. He set a career-high in strikeouts in 2016 with 143.

The report comes in after the D-backs lost their 10th game in the last 11 outings Sunday afternoon.
