Major League Baseball unveiled its new line of All-Star Game hats because the All-Star Game is such a spectacle, it needs its own hats and well, it’s a great opportunity to make more money.
The hats were designed to pay homage to the Minnesota Twins and their batting helmet design from the 1970s. The Twins will host the annual contest at Target Field July 15.
The Diamondbacks’ look features a black hat with a Sedona red wedge on the front containing the team’s ‘A’ logo.
As of Wednesday, it looks like first baseman Paul Goldschmidt will be the only member of the D-backs wearing one at the Midsummer Classic.
