Devin Booker teams up with Chevrolet on Book 2 collab honoring his classic cars

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker keeps making noise in the shoe game.

After debuting his turquoise Book 2s in honor of the Sedona McDonald’s arches, the guard is back with another collaboration.

Combining his love for classic cars and his Nike shoe line, Booker is teaming up with Chevrolet for a four-shoe collection.

The first shoe dubbed “Pretty Penny” drops Saturday (Aug. 15) during the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit and mirrors Booker’s 1959 Chevrolet Impala down to the hood ornament.

A global release of the shoe is slated for Aug. 25.

Booker’s car will also be one of 40,000 classic rides involved in the dream cruise down Woodward Avenue in Detroit.

Three more colorways will be released in October. Like the first pair, each will represent Booker’s other Impalas (’58, ’62, ’63).

“I’ve been a lifelong Chevy fan and I truly love adding classic cars to my garage, The Library,” Booker said in a press release.

“Bringing together my Michigan roots and my passion for Chevy makes this project really special.”

The collaboration follows in line with Booker and Chevrolet teaming up for a Book 1 release centered around the guard’s Chevy Blazers.

“When an All-Star like Devin draws genuine inspiration from one of our classic Chevys, it speaks volumes. Millions of people connect with that passion for an iconic car,” vice president of Global Chevrolet Scott Bell said.

“Seeing Devin’s love for his Chevy collection inspire a custom sneaker isn’t just special, it’s a truly one-of-a-kind moment for our brand.”
