Dillon Brooks is up to more shenanigans, once again with Benny the Bull

Dillon Brooks continued his ongoing rivalry with Benny the Bull, the mascot of the Chicago Bulls, during the Phoenix Suns’ preseason game against Chicago on Wednesday.

Brooks is no stranger to antics, and neither is Benny. Last season, when the Suns played the Bulls in April, Benny copied Brooks’ patented pregame stare-down before engaging with him in an intense match of foosball.

This time around, the two got involved in a pillow fight before tip-off, a rematch of a battle that took place back in Brooks’ days with the Houston Rockets.

Brooks got the better of Benny again, unloading a flurry of blows while dual-wielding pillows before throwing one at a downed Benny for the final strike.

The dustup with Benny comes just two days after Brooks got in a more serious scuffle with Detroit Pistons forward John Collins, which resulted in Brooks getting a technical foul less than five minutes into the Suns’ first preseason game of the 2026-27 season.

Brooks went on an offseason vacation to China in which he worked on his zen, but that doesn’t mean the Suns fan favorite is changing his ways anytime soon.

The next chapter of the Dillon Brooks-Benny the Bull saga will have to wait until March, when the Suns go on the road to Chicago for a regular season matchup.
