The $206.5 million dollar man did not make a good first impression on Opening Day.

Zack Greinke went four innings, gave up nine hits and all seven of his runs were earned in his Arizona Diamondbacks debut against the Colorado Rockies.

Here’s the disappointing debut, by the numbers.

1,452

The last start Greinke gave up more than seven runs was nearly four years ago. Pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers, Greinke gave up eight runs and nine hits in only 3.2 innings on Apr. 12, 2012. That was 1,452 days ago.

2.1

Greinke’s worst start before Monday night, however, was actually against the D-backs. Greinke only went 2.1 innings against the D-backs on May 26, 2012. He allowed seven runs and ten hits. Former D-backs shortstop John McDonald had one home run and 3 RBI in the game. The start was also Greinke’s last loss when his team scored at least five runs.

In Greinke’s masterful 2015 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the 32-year-old never gave up more than three homers in a month. In his D-backs debut Monday, Greinke allowed three. The last month Greinke conceded at least four home runs was Aug. 2014.

2009

The last start Greinke gave up at least three home runs was Aug. 19, 2009 against the Chicago White Sox. In the outing, Greinke surrendered four runs in seven innings of work.

Trevor Story was 11-years-old when Zack Greinke made his MLB debut on May 22, 2004. Story made his MLB debut Monday for the Rockies and hit two home runs off Greinke.

The D-backs scored five runs Monday. The last time Greinke’s team lost one of his starts when he had at least five runs of run support was on June 1, 2013 against the Rockies. The Rockies won 7-6 and Greinke had a no decision.
