The Arizona Diamondbacks will have some familiar faces in the clubhouse when they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second game of their series on Tuesday.

The D-backs recalled outfielders Mitch Haniger and Peter O’Brien along with pitchers Steve Hathaway, Matt Koch and Dominic Leone. They also took left-handed pitcher Andrew Chafin and catcher Chris Herrmann off the disabled list.

Chafin, a relief pitcher, landed on the DL in early July with a shoulder issue. He has appeared in 32 games this season, tossing 22.2 innings and posting a 6.75 ERA.

As for Herrmann, the 28-year-old who has mostly played catcher but also seen time in the outfield was placed on the DL in mid-July with a strained hamstring. He was batting .290 with six home runs and 28 RBI before the injury.

Then there are the callups:

All but Koch have been with the Diamondbacks at some point this season. The 25-year-old is 6-6 with a 4.08 ERA in 21 starts for Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Reno.

O’Brien, who plays catcher and outfield, had a 21-game stint with the club, in which he hit just .123 with four home runs and eight RBI. In 434 at-bats for Triple-A Reno this year, however, he has hit 24 home runs and driven in 75.

Leone appeared in 20 games for the D-backs this season, notching a 7.52 ERA in 20.1 innings while Hathaway has a 5.79 ERA across 9.1 innings. An outfielder, Haniger hit .237 with two doubles and six RBI in 38 at-bats.
