No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 4 Washington: College Football Playoff preview

Dec 28, 2016, 10:00 AM

On New Years Eve, No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Washington will face off in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

The Crimson Tide dominated once again this season as they went a perfect 13-0, winning the SEC Championship. Meanwhile, the Huskies went 12-1, claiming their first Pac-12 title since 2000.

It’s no secret that Alabama has established itself as the nation’s most dominant program. Nick Saban’s team is seeking the first 15-0 season in college football history and its second straight national championship. So, in order for Washington to come out on top, the Huskies must score points, win the turnover battle and limit the big plays.

Erin Maloney breaks down the matchup and gives you the key players to watch for the College Football Playoff semifinals matchup.
