Suns guard Bradley Beal exited Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers with left calf soreness and would not return, according to the Suns.

Beal had zero points on 0-for-4 shooting, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 15 minutes on Tuesday.

Beal has been bothered by a left calf issue dating back to a November game against the Utah Jazz. He was also held out of last week’s games against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a calf injury as well.

Beal has played in 43 of the Suns’ 62 games this season. He has also missed games this season due to elbow, knee, hip, ankle and toe injuries.

In his second season with the Suns, Beal is averaging 18.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 50.5% from the field and 40.7% from three.

With Beal out, Tyus Jones started the second half for the Suns.

I don't believe it one bit, I just think he's given up on this team just like the rest of us, probably the worst Suns team I've ever seen

Shut down Beal. If ya ain't part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Effort and production should be what gets you minutes. Hope they give Gillespie a chance show that that 4th quarter wasn't an anomaly.
