TEMPE — Jayden Quaintance took off for a poster dunk over Arizona big man Henri Veesaar in a 81-72 loss to the Wildcats on Saturday.

The 6-foot-9 Quaintance saw an open lane if he could get around 7-foot Henri Veesaar, which is exactly what he did, throwing down the dunk with a little extra power for good measure.

Most of the 17-year-old’s highlights as a freshman have come on the defensive end, where he has led Power conference shotblockers throughout the season.

The dunk, which tied the game at 62, brought his point total to five, as he already had a block on the day.

Veesaar threw down his own highlight dunk followed by another shortly after with both teams jockeying for the advantage. His dunks gave Arizona a 68-62 advantage with 5:37 remaining.

The game had gone back-and-forth for much of the 40 minutes, with the teams trading technical fouls late in the first half.

Hey Allred! It is TWO points, that's all.

Jayden gets the poster, but Cats get the "W".
All kidding aside that was was a monster drive and dunk. ASU fans should be excited about his potential.
