What is Cardinals QB Carson Beck’s early impression of Jeremiyah Love?
Arizona Cardinals rookie QB Carson Beck is seeing a lot out of teammate and running back Jeremiyah Love both on and off the field.

If all goes well, the Arizona Cardinals offense will run through quarterback Carson Beck and running back Jeremiyah Love for years to come.
It wouldn’t be a surprise for either to think that at some point or another, especially when talking about a No. 3 overall pick and the third quarterback taken in the draft.
But for now, it’s all about setting a firm foundation for themselves and the rest of the rookie class.
“I’ve been getting a lot reps with Jeremiyah. Just being able to be a threat in the run game, a threat in the past game and just all the ways that you can use him,” Beck told Arizona Sports’ Cardinals Corner podcast on Friday. “He’s super talented. I’m excited to continue to work with him and build that chemistry.
“He’s awesome to be around, super fun to be around, and then you see him out there on the field just making plays,” the QB added. “I was able to see what he was able to do in college but definitely excited about what he brings to the table.”
Since Beck and Love arrived in Arizona, the duo has worked closely together throughout rookie minicamp, organized team activities and mandatory minicamp.
Despite their potential — and the expectation — of finding their way into the starting lineup in 2026, that hasn’t been the case on the Tempe practice fields with rookies working from the bottom up.
Love has mainly worked behind veteran Tyler Allgeier, who took the bulk of first-team reps throughout the offseason. The rookie found his way into the mix here and there, but for the most part, was working with the second-team offense.
Beck, meanwhile, has had a taller hill to climb operating behind both Gardner Minshew II and Kedon Slovis in the quarterbacks room this offseason. That’s before mentioning expected Week 1 starter Jacoby Brissett, who was away from the team during voluntary offseason work and did not participate in Arizona’s lone minicamp practice.
Beck and Love, however, aren’t overlooking the process.
“I think the biggest thing for us is taking it day by day. Thinking ahead and going through that, you’re going to miss out on maybe some important information that you might have been able to learn or you’re going to miss out on something that day could have brought you,” Beck said.
“I know for me, I know for him as well, that it’s day by day and just trying to be the best possible version of ourselves so that if that opportunity ever does present itself that we’re ready for it. That’s really the biggest thing that I think we can do.”

I love Beck"s Positive outlook! Again I say release Brissett & go with Beck! I'm not sure why they brought a mediocre KC back-up who did not do well when Patrick M went down! Again a Bad Cardinal move! I also thought that Slovis had major ability!
