Tiger Woods will play in the Waste Management Open in Scottsdale

It’s official: The rowdiest tournament on tour just went to another level.
Tiger Woods will play in the Waste Management Open for the first time since 2001.
The golfer tweeted the news Friday.
Starting my year off at Phoenix & Torrey back-to-back weeks. I’m ready to go. Should be a lot of fun. http://t.co/sRnFLf6NvM

As you can see from the video above, he’s had a magical moment at the infamous No. 16 before.
Woods has played the event only three times, registering two top-five finishes, including a third-place showing in 1999.
In that 1999 tournament a heckler of Woods was later found with a gun in his possession and two years after that, a fan threw an orange onto a green while he was putting.
Woods started recent seasons playing in Dubai.
