NFL.com released Tuesday a list of award predictions given by a panel of analysts, and the Cardinals’ Tyrann Mathieu and David Johnson each appeared multiple times.

In the 2017 NFL season award predictions, the Patriots’ Tom Brady was a favorite to win MVP. But Johnson was selected by Gregg Rosenthal to win that award.

A player can only break up the QB hegemony of this award with something truly spectacular, like a 1,000-yard rushing, 1000-yard receiving season.

Johnson eclipsed 2,000 yards from scrimmage last year to lead the league in that category, but was 121 yards shy of 1,000 receiving. This year, he’s poised to make another run at the impressive 1,000-1,000 milestone. At age 24, the Northern Iowa alum has tallied more than 3,000 yards over two NFL seasons.

Johnson also was selected by Marc Sessler to win Offensive Player of the Year.

He does it all. The numbers will be there, too, as Arizona leans on Johnson from wire to wire.

Mathieu also appeared on the list twice. The safety has dealt with numerous injuries in his career but has been back and healthy so far in 2017. For that, Dan Hanzus picked the Honey Badger to win Comeback Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, Maruice Jones-Drew said Mathieu would win Defensive Player of the Year.

He spoke his greatness into existence.

The Cardinals begin their regular season on Sept. 10 in Detroit.
