Outside linebacker Markus Golden left the Arizona Cardinals’ 18-15 win against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in overtime with a leg injury.
Golden was looked over by the Cardinals’ training staff on the sidelines before exiting to the locker room under his own power.
He was injured on a play in which he and safety Budda Baker converged on Niners quarterback Brian Hoyer. It appeared that Golden’s right knee was injured in a collision with Baker.
Golden has 11 tackles this season and has yet to record a sack through nearly four full games.
Here is the play that led to Golden’s injury and departure.
