Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will sit out the team’s Sunday afternoon road game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to inflammation in his right big toe, the team said.

Booker, a third-year pro, is averaging 22.5 points, 4.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game and is coming off a rough outing against the New Orleans Pelicans.

He scored 13 points and went 4-of-13 from the field in the 115-91 loss, turning the ball over a season-high six times.

On Oct. 31, 2016, Booker missed a game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a sprain of the same toe.
