What happens if Suns trade up and D-Will is gone?

Rumors have circulated that the Suns are interested in trading up to get the No. 2 selection in the NBA Draft and, presumably, Arizona’s Derrick Williams.
What if, though, they make a deal with Minnesota only to watch Cleveland take Williams with the first-overall pick?
“That would be the risk, you move up to number two in the draft you’d have to have a guarantee or pull the trigger on that trade after the Cavaliers went with Kyrie Irving,” Paul Calvisi said on Sports 620 KTAR’s Sports Interactive.
However, it’s possible the Suns would be fine with the consolation prize in that scenario.
“Maybe they’d be happy with Kyrie Irving,” Dave Burns said on the show. “Maybe they could look at Kyrie Irving and say ‘now there is our replacement for Steve Nash,'” he said. “It could be a win-win for the Phoenix Suns to move up to number two to take either one of those guys.
“Either you get Derrick Williams and you get your high-profile, high-flying scorer for the next decade or you get your point guard for Steve Nash when he calls it quits in a year or two.”
Indeed, if the Suns are able to land the second pick in the draft they will be able to grab one of the top two players, both of whom could help them now and in the future.
