Trivia Tuesday: Last HR leader for each MLB franchise
May 8, 2018, 6:00 AM
The home run.
It’s still the most glamourous statistic in all of sports.
Everyone loves the long ball (well, except for the pitchers that serve them up).
As of last season, 28 of the 30 MLB franchises have had at least one league leader in home runs. The Houston Astros and Kansas City Royals have never had a player who led the league or tied for the league lead in dingers.
That’s your Trivia Tuesday challenge this week — name the last player from each franchise to grab at least a share of the league-lead in home runs. We’ve given you the year, the number of round-trippers and the team he did it for.
You’ve just got to name the player. There are eight minutes on the clock. Good luck.
