Suns coach Gentry believes team can turn season around

If the Phoenix Suns are going to climb back into the
playoff picture, they’ll have to start playing better.

Besides that being the “Captain Obvious” statement of the
day, it also happens to be the truth.

The Suns are just 14-20 on the season, and have failed to
win more than three consecutive games at any point this
season. Can they turn it around? Head coach Alvin Gentry
thinks so.

“We’ve got eight out of the next 10 at home and that gives
us a situation to climb right back into the playoffs if we
want to do that,” the coach told Arizona Sports 620’s
Burns and Gambo Thursday.

Of course, no one would question the players’ desire to
start winning games and reach the playoffs, and if they
did there would be something seriously wrong with the
roster as a whole.
