The Phoenix Suns’ preseason schedule will include four games against fellow Western Conference teams and one from the Southern Hemisphere.
First-year coach Igor Kokoskov, first overall pick Deandre Ayton and star guard Devin Booker will begin preparations for the 2018-19 season at home against the Sacramento Kings (Oct. 1) before playing the New Zealand Breakers (Oct. 3) and then the Portland Trail Blazers (Oct. 5).
Phoenix will hit the road for the final two preseason games against the Golden State Warriors (Oct. 8) and Trail Blazers (Oct. 10).
All of the Suns’ preseason games will begin at 7 p.m. Arizona time.
Facing the Breakers marks the second year in a row the Suns will face a team from Australasia’s National Basketball League. They played the Brisbane Bullets at Talking Stick Resort Arena in 2017.
Phoenix is one of five others NBA teams that will be taking on NBL opponents during the 2018 preseason.
Tickets for the preseason games will go on sale following the release of the NBA regular season schedule.
