Brown, Mathieu already recruiting Cardinals’ Peterson

Patrick Peterson is a well-respected man.
That was assumed, but it became clear Monday upon the cornerback’s reported trade request that the Arizona Cardinals star has fans across the NFL. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Peterson “desperately” wants out of Arizona amid a 1-6 start to the year but that the team has yet to budge in searching out a trade despite — unsurprisingly — quite a lot of interest incoming from other teams.
If that interest wasn’t clear through sources of Schefter, then it certainly became clear in the aftermath of that news.
Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl receiver Antonio Brown wouldn’t mind seeing Peterson suit up in black and yellow.
As unlikely as that possibility might sound, Brown promises big things if Peterson were somehow dealt to the Steel City.
Automatic chip @P2 to @steelers 🧐🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🙏🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾

Peterson’s former Cardinals teammate and fellow LSU defensive back product Tyrann Mathieu likewise would enjoy teaming up with the shutdown cornerback with the Houston Texans. It was Peterson, after all, who Mathieu credited with helping him find the path to success after Arizona took a risk on the defensive back whose off-the-field issues got him kicked off the LSU team, raising red flags around his draft stock.
Come thru 5 @P2 https://t.co/jdu2VJZiaQ

Mathieu wasn’t the only former Cardinal to chime in on the big news.
Former Arizona running back Chris Johnson and cornerback Jerraud Powers found Peterson’s reported trade request quite interesting.
This speak alot about the organization and the front office when this guy no longer wants to be a part of it Az cardinals is not right u let go all ur top talent go RT @AdamSchefter: Cardinals continue to insist they’re not trading him – and Peterson continues to request a trade.
