The Phoenix Suns have signed forward Emanuel Terry to a 10-day contract, the team announced on Saturday.
Terry is a 6-foot-9 forward and averaged 10.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over 27 games in the G-League this season.
After starting the season with the Canton Charge, Terry was traded to the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Jan. 5 and has since averaged 15.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game on 61.3 percent shooting with the new team.
Terry played Division II basketball at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee winning the 2018 Bevo Francis Award, given annually to the best player of all small colleges in the nation.
The Suns have played the last two games without their top centers Deandre Ayton and Richaun Holmes. Friday, they were down another forward as T.J. Warren was out with an ankle injury.
In his first action as a member of the Suns, Terry played nine minutes, recording five points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in the team’s 116-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
