You can’t teach height.
That’s a saying that’s always held true in professional basketball and probably always will.
Since the beginning of the 1990-91 season, 29 different NBA rookies who stood 6-foot-10 or taller have scored 1,000 or more points in their first pro season.
Your Trivia Tuesday task is to name them.
Now don’t get caught thinking about just centers — several players on this last are/were bigger power forwards and there’s even a guard or two on the list.
We’ve given you the number of points each players scored, the team he did it for and the year — you just need to name the rookie.
