Coyotes to hold prospect development camp at Gila River Arena

The Arizona Coyotes will be holding their prospect development camp from June 24-28 at Gila River Arena, the team announced Tuesday.

On-ice sessions will begin June 24th and prospects will compete in a red-versus-white intra-squad game on June 28th.

Before that game, there will be a one-hour town hall for fans at the Renaissance Hotel. President and CEO Ahron Cohen, GM John Chayka and head coach Rick Tocchet will be on stage for the event.

Some notable prospects participating include 2018 No. 5 overall pick Barrett Hayton, 2017 No. 23 overall pick Pierre-Olivier Joseph, centerman Tyler Steenbergen, defenseman Cam Dineen and goaltender Erik Kallgren.

The Coyotes will release a full-prospect roster as the beginning of the camp approaches.

On June 26th, Arizona will also partake in some community events such as Hockey Science Day with the Arizona Science Center, Phoenix Mission’s Hope for Hunger Food Bank, and the Boys and Girls Club with HopeKids.

All events during the camp will be available and free to the public.
