Phoenix Suns’ Alex Len, Heat’s Hassan Whiteside ejected after scuffle

Mar 3, 2015, 2:39 AM | Updated: 4:06 am

In the second and third ejections of the evening, Phoenix Suns center Alex Len and Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside were disqualified from Monday night’s game after fighting in the third quarter.

Len appeared to take exception to Whiteside’s arm coming down on his head after a dunk. The second-year center tossed Whiteside to the side, leading to an attempted tackle of Len by Whiteside.

Minutes earlier, Suns forward Markieff Morris was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on former Suns guard Goran Dragic.

The Heat went on to win 115-98 behind Dragic’s 21 points.
