The Arizona Cardinals cut veteran receiver Michael Crabtree on Monday, a day after a Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Crabtree appeared in two games and played a combined 31 snaps for the Cardinals, who signed him in late August.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Crabtree will earn his $500,000 signing bonus and $1.75 million base salary.

The receiver caught four balls for 22 yards and was targeted five times.

The 11-year pro played with the Baltimore Ravens last season and previously was with the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders. He recorded 54 catches for 607 yards with the Ravens in 2018.

Crabtree worked out for Arizona in training camp but was not signed immediately.

Eventually inked just as regular season preparations began, he missed the Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions as he learned the playbook and got into football shape.

Even over the last two weeks in losses at Baltimore and against Carolina, he struggled to see the field. Crabtree was behind Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk in terms of priority, but he failed to impress enough to play ahead of sixth-round pick KeeSean Johnson and offseason free agent addition Damiere Byrd.
