Webb Simpson secures hole-in-one on No. 12, ties for WMPO lead

The Waste Management Phoenix Open is starting to heat up on Saturday as Webb Simpson hit a hole-in-one on No. 12 to come into a tie for the lead at the time.
The ace brought him to -6 on the day and -14 overall.

The ball was hit at 129 mph and reached an apex of 120 feet before landing on the green and rolling into the hole 196 yards away.
It was his first hole-in-one on the tour.
After finishing with 71 strokes in the first round, Simpson ended Friday with 63 strokes.
Prior to the hole-in-one, Simpson had five birdies and a bogey on Saturday.
Midway through Saturday, there were no hole-in-one’s on the famed stadium Par 3 on Hole 16.
