Country singer Luke Bryan was trending on Twitter on Saturday.

Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with him. But it wasn’t anything particularly good, either. The singer performed during the NFL Draft and lots of viewers were less than thrilled about it.

Bryan played “Play It Again” as part of his Pay It Forward campaign with Verizon to try to raise money for small businesses as part of COVID-19 awareness.

The #PayItForwardLIVE initiative is a noble cause, and ESPN had a couple performers on during its airing of the draft Saturday.

But a lot of folks on Twitter weren’t thrilled with Bryan’s appearance.

Some people on social media stood up for Bryan, though, and another one pointed out that this distraction is probably pretty small in the scheme of the big draft weekend.
