The Arizona Diamondbacks found a way to fill some seats for the team’s home opener with something other than cardboard cutouts.

Per a request from left fielder David Peralta, a portion of seats in left field were filled with teddy bears to represent Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

“This is really cool. This is really exciting,” Peralta said.

D-backs charities will donate $1,000 to the Play Ball Fund every time a player hits a home run in the area of the teddy bears. They will also be donating teddy bears to the hospital.

“I’m going to be throwing balls, trying to talk with them as real fans so I really love it,” Peralta said. “But still I’m going to be missing the real fans.”

There’s also a doll from the film “Moana” that is there, which Peralta said is meant to represent one of his daughters who loves the movie.

Baxter tried to interact with the fans that he had around.
