Sad Cowboys fan parody emerges after Cardinals’ Monday demolition

If you’d like to relive a Monday Night Football win by the Arizona Cardinals in the shoes of a Dallas Cowboys fan, comedian Scooter Magruder has you covered.
After the Cardinals’ 38-10 win at AT&T Stadium, he filmed a timely parody of the currently dim existence of rooting for the 2-4 Cowboys.
And Magruder covers most of the bases, from Andy Dalton’s iffy job in replacing starting quarterback Dak Prescott to Michael Gallup’s dropped touchdown catch to a painful missed call by the officials.
“The refs really called the weakest pass interference on us? Meanwhile, CeeDee Lamb got tackled and they reviewed it!” he screams, referencing Cardinals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick’s contact with Lamb that led to Arizona picking off Dalton’s pass.
Magruder begs for Ezekiel Elliott to lose the sleeves after his two fumbles, wonders aloud who Dallas backup quarterback Ben DiNucci is and educates himself about the origins of Cardinals safety Budda Baker.
“Who is Budda Baker and why didn’t we draft him?” Magruder says.
“Oh, we drafted Taco. Good job!” he adds, referencing the defensive end and 2017 first-round pick who has played for the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs since his start with the Cowboys.
“Taco Charlton over Budda Baker?!”
Magruder takes a swipe at Murray’s accuracy problems on Sunday and also, like most of us, gets fatigued about the storyline of Murray’s history in Dallas.
The performance is all-encompassing and detailed. We even learn that, apparently, there was a minority of Cowboys fans who at some point wanted to bench Prescott for Dalton.
Indeed, it’s a sad time for Cowboys fans.
