Kevin Towers wants to acquire a reliever for Arizona Diamondbacks

July 31, the MLB trade deadline, is arguably one of the most exciting days of the baseball season.
This year it looks like it could be even more exciting for local fans because the Diamondbacks will likely be involved.
At 49-43 the Arizona Diamondbacks are three games back of the division lead and will likely try to acquire some bullpen help.
“I think the real difference makers are probably the guys who pitch late in the game, somebody that can handle the seventh and eighth inning,” Arizona Diamondbacks General Manager Kevin Towers said on Sports 620 KTAR’s Doug and Wolf.
