The Phoenix Suns are getting another shot at hosting a Western Conference foe on national television this week.
That’s because the Suns’ home game on Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors has been moved to TNT, giving the team a chance to play Stephen Curry and company on a national network.
The Suns-Warriors game replaced the showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat and follows the matchup of the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets that night.
Phoenix has played six nationally-televised games this season to-date, last doing so in the team’s 130-126 overtime loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
The Suns are 4-2 so far in those six nationally-televised games, defeating the Dallas Mavericks on opening night, as well as the New Orleans Pelicans, Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets.
Phoenix’s losses in those six contests came against the Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies. Their next scheduled national television game is against the Pelicans on Feb. 3, with that game airing on ESPN.
