Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Detroit Pistons, according to head coach Monty Williams pregame.
Williams listed Crowder as day-to-day and game-to-game.
Cam Payne (right foot sprain) and Dario Saric (left ankle sprain) are out as well.
Crowder has been dealing with a right foot issue that left him sidelined for the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
“Had a little foot problem last night. Some tightness in my right foot. X-rays are negative so I’m just taking it day-to-day right now,” Crowder told Arizona Sports’ Bickley & Marotta on Thursday.
The 30-year-old played a season-low 13 minutes on Wednesday and did not look like himself on the floor, accounting for three points, two rebounds and an assist.
On the season, Crowder is averaging 10.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He started the first 11 games of the season before Williams made a change, replacing Crowder in the starting lineup with forward Cam Johnson.
