With Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Daniel Hudson leaving
Tuesday night’s game with an elbow injury,
it appears the team is ready to bring up another pitcher
to replace him.
Patrick Corbin was scratched from his Triple-A start with
the Reno Aces on Tuesday and according to The Arizona
Republic’s Nick Piecoro he will join the team on their
current road trip.
As we all expected,
LHP Pat Corbin has been summoned to Atlanta, I’m told.
Don’t know if he’ll start or relieve.— Nick

Corbin was up with the Diamondbacks earlier this year,
going 2-3 in five starts.
The left-hander has an ERA of 5.27, giving up 16 runs in
27.1 innings pitched. He struck out 18 and walked nine in
his time with the Diamondbacks.
Corbin confirmed via Twitter Wednesday morning that he and
another new member of the D-backs were on their way to
Georgia.

Hudson was on the disabled list earlier in the year due to
a shoulder impingement.
He will fly back to Phoenix and have an MRI on Wednesday.
