Diamondbacks’ Adam Eaton off to a fast start

Adam Eaton was sitting at home with his fiancé when he got a phone call from Diamondbacks director of player development Mike Bell.

He was on the line to tell the center fielder that he was getting called up to the majors.

“Immediately I started running through the house and about hit my head on the ceiling.” Eaton told Arizona Sports 620’s Burns and Gambo. “It felt like I was jumping so high,”

Since being called up, Eaton has looked sharp.
