There’s work left to be done for the Phoenix Suns, but their berth in the Western Conference Finals via a sweep of the Denver Nuggets that was completed Sunday had the Valley vibing.

Phoenix completed the 4-0 conference semifinals series in Colorado on Sunday night with a 125-118 win behind Chris Paul’s 37 points and seven assists.

Suns backcourt mate Devin Booker added 34 points and 11 boards, while center Deandre Ayton closed a consistent series of challenging league MVP Nikola Jokic.

The Suns have a few days to recoup their energy and turn their attention to the next round, whether that’s against the Los Angeles Clippers or Utah Jazz.

And they had a night to celebrate their accomplishment.

As they traveled back to Arizona, a throng of diehard fans gathered to meet them at Sky Harbor Airport.

Once the Suns touched down, the players lived it up. Ayton popped out of his moon roof to get fans hyped.

Torrey Craig, whose Instagram presence has helped chronicle his team from the inside, posted a long story to show just how many fans — perhaps hundreds — showed up sometime around midnight to welcome the Suns back home.

Booker’s large pup, Haven, was present to welcome his dog dad and the guard’s Phoenix teammates back to the Valley.

Haven called shotgun as Booker enjoyed the wild crowd from the backseat on the way out of the airport.
