Clippers defeat Jazz, will face Suns in Western Conference Finals

The Clippers defeated the Utah Jazz in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals, 131-119.

Los Angeles outscored the Jazz in the second half 81-47.

Shooting guard Terance Mann had a career-high for the Clippers with 39 points. Clippers wingman Paul George contributed with 28 points and dished out seven assists in the win.

As a team, the Clippers shot 56.5% from the field and drained 20 shots from beyond the arc.

With the victory on Friday, the Clippers will advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history and will face the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns swept the Denver Nuggets in their second round matchup and averaged 121.5 points per game against the Nuggets.

Suns point guard Chris Paul looked impressive against Denver in the Western Conference Semifinals as he averaged 25.5 points, 10.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game in the series.

This is the Suns first trip to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2010.

Game 1 between the Suns and Clippers will be on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Phoenix Suns Arena.
