The wait is finally over.

Having not seen any action since his last start Sept. 27, 2013 after undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery in March of last year, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Patrick Corbin is scheduled to make his first start Saturday versus Colorado. On Friday, the team announced a corresponding move making space for Corbin on the roster will be made prior to the game.

In three rehab starts at Double-A Mobile, Corbin went 1-0 posting a 2.76 ERA and holding opponents to a .220 batting average to go along with 11 strikeouts.

An NL All-Star in 2013, Corbin went 14-8 with a 3.41 ERA and 178 strikeouts that season. In seven career starts versus the Rockies, Corbin is 3-1 with a 4.09 ERA, including a spotless 2-0 record in three starts versus Colorado at Chase Field.
