Arizona Diamondbacks pitching prospect Archie Bradley was named California League Player of the Week Monday.

Bradley has started two games for the Visalia Rawhide, throwing 11.2 scoreless innings while only giving up seven hits and three walks with 19 strikeouts.

The 20-year-old entered the 2013 season as the 25th-ranked prospect in all of baseball by Baseball America, and the top-rated prospect in the California league.

The same publication ranked Bradley as the D-backs’ second-best minor league prospect in 2013.

Bradley was drafted by the D-backs in 2011 out of Broken Arrow High School in Oklahoma.

Bradley is scheduled to make his third start of the season Monday night against the Modesto Nuts.
