The Arizona Cardinals announced they will open the roof of State Farm Stadium for Thursday Night Football this week against the Green Bay Packers.

It should be a clear night in Glendale with winds up to five miles per hour and an expected temperature in the low 80s degrees at kickoff. The sun will set shortly after and the temperature will gradually decrease.

The Cardinals are also reminding fans to arrive early in leu of the weekday traffic.

Thursday night’s game is just the third in NFL history to include two teams on six-game winning streaks in primetime, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

The Cardinals are 7-0 having won five games by at least two scores.

The Packers are 6-1, putting a 38-3 Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints well in the rearview mirror.

Neither team will be 100%. The Cardinals ruled out defensive end J.J. Watt while center Rodney Hudson is still on injured reserve.

Hudson’s backup, Max Garcia, is listed as questionable. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is also a game-day decision.

The Packers are “unlikely” to have their top receiver Davante Adams, according to reports, who remains on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Green Bay also has several key defenders on injured reserve, including top cornerback Jaire Alexander and outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith.

Kickoff is set for 5:20 p.m. You can listen live on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports station.
