Across their first 58 games of the season, the Phoenix Suns have had their fair share of players having some noteworthy performances.

Those big games littered throughout the schedule have helped build up a league-leading 48-10 record at the All-Star break.

While there’s certainly more than enough film to go back on, here’s a look at some of the top standout performances so far this season for the Suns:

21s for 22 (Oct. 27)

Did someone say blackjack?

Despite the Suns falling 110-107 to the Sacramento Kings in in late October, Suns center Deandre Ayton put together one of his best efforts of the season.

Recording 21 points and 21 rebounds, Ayton kept the Suns in it until the very end only to watch Kings forward Harrison Barnes bury a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the win.

Ayton made nine of his 12 shots in the losing effort, while only committing one turnover and one foul in just under 34 minutes of action.

Book hits 40 (Jan. 17)

Suns guard Devin Booker’s scoring prowess was on display early on in 2022 in the team’s 121-107 win over the San Antonio Spurs midway through January.

The guard caught fire to the tune of 48 points while adding five rebounds, six assists and three steals on the evening.

Booker made 18 of his 33 attempts from the field (54.5%) and was 5 of 13 from long range (38.5%).

The performance came after Booker was named Western Conference Player of the Week after leading Phoenix to a 3-0 road record.

Book doubles down (Jan. 26)

It didn’t take long for Booker to reach the 40-point mark again in 2022. Four games to exact.

After dropping 33 on the Utah Jazz two nights before, Booker responded with a 43-point effort in Salt Lake City.

Not only did he pace all scorers in the win, the guard also grabbed a game high 12 rebounds.

It marked the team’s eighth straight win over an 11-game winning streak.

New year, same CP3 (Jan. 30)

Suns point guard put the first month of the new year away on a high note in the team’s 115-110 win over the Spurs.

The point guard had his best night of the season, recording 20 points and a league-leading 19 assists. He was 9 of 16 from the field and committed just two turnovers in the victory. He was just two rebounds shy of notching a triple double.

Paul was named Western Conference Player of the Week the following day. Paul averaged 22.3 points, 12.8 assists and 7.5 rebounds over 38.5 minutes over four games to earn the honors.

Another day, another dime (Feb. 10)

Six games later, Paul would have himself another one to remember in a 131-107 demolition of the Milwaukee Bucks.

In the Finals rematch, the point guard dished out another 19 assists to go along with 17 points and seven rebounds.

He was 5 of 11 from the field and turned the rock over twice in the lopsided victory.

It marked the fourth straight victory for the Suns, who enter the NBA All-Star break on a seven-game winning streak.
