With the NBA at the All-Star break, the Phoenix Suns have been the talk of the league as they hold the best record at 48-10.

While the Suns have garnered plenty of buzz this weekend, most of the talk at the All-Star Game in Cleveland was the status of point guard Chris Paul, who injured his hand in the Suns’ final game before the break against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

Three minutes into the third quarter against Houston, Paul was given back-to-back technicals for arguing a no-call when getting hit in the hand on a pass and then “bumping” into an official.

At Saturday’s All-Star practice, Paul told TNT’s Allie LaForce that he “might” play in Sunday’s game to tally an assist or two.

Paul was seen at Saturday’s practice wearing a brace on his right hand. The Suns point guard underwent an MRI on Thursday for the injury, but the results have yet to be revealed.

“When I did feel that in my hand, I was mad for all types of reasons,” Paul said Saturday. “I’m going to try to heal as (quick) as possible. The second that I am able to play, I guarantee you I will be playing.”

The All-Star Game itself will be played Sunday at 6 p.m. MST, where Paul is joined by fellow Suns’ Devin Booker and coach Monty Williams.
