Additionally, the Cardinals released safety Javon Hagan.

The 6-foot, 196-pound cornerback spent his first three years in Green Bay (2018-20) before getting traded to the New York Giants and spending time on the practice squad prior to signing with the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
Jackson has played in 44 games (15 starts) and compiled 89 tackles, 12 passes defensed, two tackles for loss and one fumble recovery to go along with 12 tackles on special teams.
Niemann, 26, signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa in 2018.

Niemann is coming off of a 2021 season in which he posted a career-high 52 tackles (36 solo) in addition to 1.0 sack, two fumble recoveries and two tackles for loss.
He also has 11 games of postseason experience, including two conference championships and a Super Bowl LIV ring.
