Kolb won’t be a Cardinal until at least Wednesday

For anyone who was excited to see the Cardinals land Kevin Kolb Tuesday, we have some bad news for you.

Well, actually, Pal Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News does.

I’m also told there will be no Kevin Kolb trade announcement today. Hmmm.less than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

This goes against what many thought, that a deal would be completed soon after one could be, sending Kolb to Arizona for a package of players, picks and the kitchen sink.

However, this does not mean a trade will not happen. The Cardinals still seem to be leading the race for the Eagles backup and at this point the only thing standing in their way may simply be time.
