Go look at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Wikipedia page because Paul Goldschmidt is listed as their “owner.”
OK, maybe not actually, but Goldschmidt sure has dominated the Dodgers since his MLB debut on Aug. 1, 2011.
In 82 career games against the Dodgers, Goldschmidt has hit 23 home runs and tallied 68 RBI (he added two RBI to his total after the D-backs tweet below).

His home run mark is the most by any active player against Los Angeles. Matt Holliday originally had the record with 22 home runs against Los Angeles, but he also needed 131 games to do it.
Goldschmidt has posted a .327/.391/.607 slash line against Los Angeles. His slugging percentage is his fourth-best mark against an opponent whom he has played at least 10 games against.
The right-handed slugger is the only hitter on the D-backs with two home runs in their career against Clayton Kershaw.
Kershaw has a 124-57 record with a 2.38 ERA in his career. The three-time Cy Young Award winner has given up only 103 home runs in 1,719 innings.
Goldschmidt is joined by Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner and Carlos Gonzalez as the only active National League West hitters with multiple big flies against the southpaw.
Goldschmidt nearly had his third home run off of Kershaw on Wednesday, but the ball hit off the top of the wall and bounced back into play.
Only Adam Dunn, Troy Tulowitzki and Chris Denorfia have hit at least three home runs off of Kershaw.
Goldschmidt will have ample opportunity to continue his exceptional hitting against the Dodgers, as the two teams have 13 games remaining with one another this year.
