The Arizona Coyotes traded for center Peter Holland of the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday.

According to Arizona Sports’ Craig Morgan, the Coyotes will send a conditional 2018 sixth-round draft pick.

“Peter is a big, solid centerman with good NHL experience,” said Coyotes General Manager John Chayka in a press release. “We look forward to having him join our team.”

Holland was traded to the Maple Leafs in 2013 from the Anaheim Ducks where he had 62 points, 25 goals and 37 assists while playing in a 147 games. He signed a one-year contract with Maple Leafs for $1.3 million in July as a restricted free agent.

The 25-year-old played in eight games for Toronto this season where he had one point with one assist. In six years in the NHL, Holland has accumulated 70 points for both the Ducks and Maple Leafs, scoring 30 goals and having 40 assists. His 27 points last season marked a career high where he had 18 assists and nine goals. He had a career high in goals in 2014-15 with 11.
