SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — On St. Patrick’s Day the D-backs arrived to a clubhouse blaring Irish music with green hats and jerseys hanging in their lockers.
With his Irish name and heritage, outfielder Peter O’Brien was eager to talk about the holiday.
“When I walked into the clubhouse this morning and saw it (the jersey) I was pretty excited,” he said.
O’Brien was not the only player enjoying the festivities, and Cronkite News reporter Meghan Kuebler spoke with Evan Marshall, Patrick Corbin and Phil Gosselin about everything Irish.
