Diamondbacks’ rookies dress up as superheroes for end-of-season initiation

The Arizona Diamondbacks might be mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, but that doesn’t mean the fun has stopped going into the final week of the season.

As is customary during an MLB team’s final road trip of the season, the D-backs ‘initiated’ their rookies by having them parade around Denver before Sunday’s game in superhero outfits — mostly of the female variety.

And based on a photo posted on the D-backs’ closer Brad Ziegler’s twitter account, let’s just say Adam Eaton (Wonder Woman), Tuffy Gosewisch (Superwoman), Chris Owings (Batwoman) and Eury De La Rosa (Robin) shouldn’t quit their day jobs.

All and all, though, it seems everybody — rookies or otherwise — had fun with the dress up idea.
